How do I change my password?

To reset your password:

1.Log in to your Ztoon account.
2.Go to your username (located in the top-right corner of the Homepage) and click on My Account.
3.Enter your new password into the Change Password box.

How can I change my email address?

1.Log in to your Ztoon account.
2.Go to your username icon (located in the top-right corner of the Homepage) and click on My Account.
3.In the “Primary Email Address” box, enter your email address and select the “Save Changes” box.

I cannot log in to my account, what should I do?

If you aren’t able to log in, please follow the steps below:

1.If the account email or password is incorrect, an error message will pop up. Please make sure that the information is correct.

2.If the information is correct and you click the login button only to be redirected back to the login page then please either clear out your browser’s cache and cookies, or try using a different browser.

3.The best way to test this is using a Private/Incognito window, as this will not use any previously saved information to log in.

Uploading and Downloading Documents 

What should I do if I receive an error message when downloading a document stating that it is damaged?

If you’re having difficulty viewing and/or downloading a document, please let us know by emailing us: admin@ztoon.com

Provide specific details (and screenshots) regarding the issue, the URL of the document, and someone will get in touch with you asap.

 

How do I remove my document from Ztoon?

If you have any documents that have been uploaded from your own account and you would like them removed or if your documents have been posted to our site without your consent, then please contact us: admin@ztoon.com

What are the requirements for uploading a document on Ztoon?

The requirements for each document:

  • It must be tagged to the correct course at the correct school.
  • It must contain useful information and should be a full page or longer.
  • It should have a descriptive title.
  • It cannot already exist on Ztoon.
  • It cannot be an image unless its part of the accompanying text.
  • It must be correctly classified as one of the document types listed on the page (lecture notes, study guides,  textbook summaries etc.).
  • The files must be your own or you have permission from the copyright owners to upload those files.
  • The files uploaded will not violate any law, regulation or ethics code.
  • The files uploaded will not violate Ztoon’s Terms of Use.

Please note: It takes approximately 1–3 hours for documents to be screened, accepted and published under your Ztoon account.

If I deactivate my account, would my documents be automatically removed?

When an account is deactivated, its uploaded documents are not automatically removed.

To request the removal of specific documents you’ve uploaded, please contact us: admin@ztoon.com

Make sure you include the following in the email:

  • The URL/title of the document
  • The reason why you would like the document to be removed

 

How are the notes uploaded on Ztoon screened?

Ztoon’s academic audit team have their own specialised, digitised systems in place to check all uploaded documents. Ztoon members may also inform us of any documents they find to be incorrect, incomplete or plagiarised. To report such documents, email us: admin@ztoon.com

Payments

How do I get paid when I sell my notes?

When your document gets sold, you will be notified by email and the commission amount will be added to your wallet. You may then request a withdrawal via bank transfer or keep the funds in your wallet to pay for purchasing products on ztoon.

How can I pay to purchase products on ztoon?

You can pay for your ztoon purchases wither by using your wallet if you have sufficient funds or by paypal and credit card. We will be introducing other easy modes of payment in the near future.

Is using the material on ztoon considered cheating?

Using  ztoon’s resources in a responsible and ethical manner to complement your study material and using it to enhance your comprehension of topics is not cheating. On the contrary, it’s taking assertive action to achieve your academic goals and succeed. 

At ztoon, we do not condone cheating or any form of academic dishonesty such as copyright infringement or plagiarism. Ztoon was built as a reliable, trustworthy educational resource and we’ll make sure that this is not compromised. Any user misusing the platform like submitting another student’s content as their own or violating any school ethics code or law will have to be permanently banned from the platform.
